FishinJersey.com Keeps the Prizes and Giveaways Coming Every Month!

Since FishinJersey.com was launched in August of this year, the owners have set a high standard for  our monthly features and we keep trying to deliver timely and informative articles for our visitors and readers. We have gotten wonderful comments from nearly everyone we've spoken to or received comments from through our contests and the events we've attended. We are proud of our first few months and we promise to keep striving to give our readers what they want about fishing in "Jersey". FishinJersey.com is a "one-stop" site for anglers to get your fishing report, tide report, weather report, reef charts, fishing tips and even recipes for those of you who love to eat those fish as much as catch them!

But while we've concentrated on giving New Jersey anglers what they want in a fishing site and also on  important issues with our articles, we've tried to have a bit more fun, while rewarding our loyal followers with our giveaways, prizes and contests. However, it has been a bit baffling to us that we are not getting the amount of entries we've anticipated for our ongoing Facebook T-Shirt Giveaway. We have had several weeks without a single entry form being entered!

We were even more baffled by the low amount of entries for our October "Treasure Hunt", which resulted in giving away four gorgeous handmade (in New Jersey) wooden fishing plugs.  Along with those giveaways, we gave away six "FishinJersey.com" t-shirts at the Ocean County Decoy and Gunning Show as well as another beautiful Black Label fishing plug.

As if that wasn't enough, we donated over $600 in prizes to the Cookstown Saltwater Anglers Club at their Fall Striped Bass Seminar. Those two packages included advertising vouchers worth over $250 each, along with t-shirts, hats, coffee mugs and tote bags. We gave away two more shirts and a hat in a drawing that night just for good measure! We just LOVE giving stuff away!

On October 19, we began our First-Ever "Big Bass & Blues" FREE, NO ENTRY FEE Fishing Tournament. We are offering Four Tsunami Rod & Reel Combos to the first and second place anglers with the two biggest stripers and the two biggest bluefish. There will be a choice for each winner of either a 10' combo or an 8' combo, with the leftover combo going to the second place angler. A portion of the cost of those combos is being picked up by one of our advertisers, Creekside Outfitters in Waretown. All you have to do is just visit one of our official FishinJersey.com weigh stations and fill out a form...that's it! You can stop into Creekside Outfitters in Waretown...FishBonz Bait & Tackle in Forked River...The Dock Outfitters in Seaside...Murphy's Hook House in Toms River...or visit our buddy David Showell down at Absecon Bay Sportsman Center. They want to see you and your fish!

But as the Red Hot Chili Peppers say we still want to "Give it away...Give it away...now"! That's why we are continuing our striper plug giveaway with a special limited edition handmade plug from Black Label Plugs during the month of November. The rules are just like the "Treasure Hunt" rules where you search through our site to find the ad that links to the entry form. Then once you find it, just fill it out and hit "Submit"...it's that easy!

So take a break one night and sit down at your computer, or get on your smart phone and visit the FishinJersey.com web site. If you really haven't taken the time to look through the site, you'll be amazed at all the information we've got for you. And while you are at it, try to win that limited edition plug...or post a photo of your latest catch on our Facebook page...and then just fill out the entry form for a Free T-Shirt! Then throw on those waders, or fire up the outboards and get out there in search of that winning striper or bluefish...you could win an 8' or 10' Tsunami rod n' reel combo. C'mon...GIVE it your all!
